The AB staff loves Grace Slick.

At the height of the recession, they held up Unemployment Insurance at Christmastime to force Obama to sign a tax bill.
Even though overwhelming evidence blamed lax rules for investment companies and banks as the major reason for the recession, they still support those policies.
Health care costs were increasing at 10% a year since the 90's, and unprofitable people were getting dropped from coverage, and yet they supported anything to stop changes in that system, including bitching about the recent Supreme Court decision.
They ran up our National Credit Card financing a stupid war in the wrong country.
During the height of the Tea Party movement, few of them spoke out when Tea Partiers displayed effigies and signs about the President that were either based on hatred, or racism.
Now they offer us a millionaire who is personally responsible for laying off tens of thousands in the name of profit, and serves no one but corporations, rich contributors, and manna.
Why should we listen to these people?
If Ben Franklin were alive today, he would be laughing and slapping some sense into us like red-haired stepchildren. These people care little about ordinary working Americans. If they did, they would not have done the things they have done since Obama entered the Oval Office.
If Republicans want to get right with the American people, they should come up with a program better than the one they forward now. That program is doomed to failure. Americans may be slow on the uptake sometimes, but they are not stupid, either.
Every Republican should be reading the history of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and yes...even Ronald Reagan. Maybe then they will get a clue.
Welcome to the 21st Century. Never thought Lincoln's famous statement would apply to the internet, but it really does these days:
'You can fool some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time...'
