My small advice to people is this: Quit worrying. She'll be fine.

Good. Finally My state will be rid of her. Hopefully her replacement won't be another drone who thinks that job-hunting on company time is ethical.

Rick:  *lol*  I love your comment.  Good riddance and let's hope the next person doesn't job hunt on the job.  At least not without permission, right?

'using job hunting on company time is (not) ethical...'

This is how many high-level government posts are filled. It's not 'job-hunting'. It's traditional.

Besides, Hillary Clinton was offered the job. It wasn't like she faxed an application to the Obama team to be Secretary of State .

I was not talking about Secretary of State. While she was receiving a handsome salary to represent my state in Congress, she had the chutzpah to hit the campaign trail. The ethical thing to do would have been to resign her seat first, but then ethical behavior isn't in fashion today.

McCain, Obama, Biden, and Palin are in the same boat of course, and the electorates in their respective states have been similarly deprived of their representation.

We are glad to have her and competence back in this country. I feel very good about the entire Obama administration and his choices.
